The Austin Chapter of the Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT - Austin) is a diverse community of structural engineers working in the academic, design, and construction industries. Our aim is to implement the mission and goals of SEAoT including the promotion of professional development, relationships between industry, academia, and the public, and involvement with other industry and governmental organizations.


SEAoT Austin Chapter does not collect dues directly.

President


Lizeth Gonzales has been s SEAoT member since 2010. She is an Engineering Supervisor at LCRA in the Substation Engineering Department. Lizeth obtained a bachelor's and master's degree from UT Austin. She enjoys traveling, volunteering in the community, and tutoring Math and languages. Lizeth is a proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin. Hook'em!


Vice President


Raul Olvera has been a member of SEAoT since 2019. He works at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., where he works on the design, rehabilitation, and construction of new and existing structures. Raul enjoys running around Austin and going out salsa dancing, and is a proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin.


Secretary


Jennifer Castilleja has been a SEAoT member since 2018. She is an engineer with Architectural Engineers Collaborative . Jennifer obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering from Marquette University. She enjoys travel, hiking, playing disc golf, and bowling in her spare time.

Treasurer


Vincent Costello has been SEAoT member since 2020. He is a Project Engineer at Building Diagnostics, Inc. where he specializes in failure investigation and remedial design of existing buildings. He obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering from UT Austin. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and traveling to National Parks across the country.
